As a first step in evaluating technologies, The Incubation Factory (TIF) employs a proprietary Commercialization Screening Tool which follows the Seven P’s of Business: Product, Pricing, Promotion, Place, People, Process and Profits. After the Opportunity Screening Form is completed it will be used to provide the basis for a more in-depth analysis. These questions are completed to evaluate an offering for potential commercialization with TIF. Many technology stakeholders have found the process of going through this exercise is valuable to solidifying their vision, whether with TIF or another channel.
